Q&A
Where do you ride?
I ride at Welch Village, Minnesota. for competitions i ride anywhere i can get to. like trollhaugen, buck hill, hyland hill, or powder ridge or spirit mountain if i'm lucky. i do go up to spirit just to ride if i can get up there.
How did you get started snowboarding?
I started when i was in fifth grade. i didnt even know anyone who snowboarded but decided to try it after skateboarding turned out to not be my sport. When i first started i didnt know anyone else. i just went cause i wanted to. then i joined the ski club and started going more often.
How often do you go?
I try to go as much as possible. for sure every saturday (i am on the Welch Village competitive snowboarding team, the Battalion.) and then usually fridays and sundays. and any other time i can get off work during the week.
What is your favorite part of snowboarding?
Just hanging out with friends. especially at competitions. i try to go to as many as possible that arnt sanctioned by my team. like, i went to the Volcom Stone's Peanut butter and Rail jam. and now i'm hooked. i go to any comps i can.
Favorites- Favorite Car: anything Chevy. probably a camaro

- Favorite Movie: all of my snowboard vids. Forum's THAT is at the top of the list though
- Favorite Trick: Cab 5s so far but i'm working on a seven for this year
- Favorite Event: Volcom Stones PB&RJ
- Favorite Rider: any pro boarder. probably shaun white and eddie wall. chad otterstrom was one of my first influences though.
