How I got started

I started riding an electric quad at the age of 1year 3mnths. My dad thought I had potential and put me on a 60 quad at the age of 2 and I took off from there.

Goals for the Future

07 was a new year in the 7-8 class.  My family and I dedicated our selves to the WORCS Series making it to every race this far.  Currently I am in the points lead with 2 races left.  We have had a great season on my new PRC.  The Bike is running great and I am in top shape for my racing.  I have been practicing two to three times a week and traveling to tracks on the weekends we are not at a WORCS race.  My goals for the 08 Season are to build my confidence and skills.  I will also start racing my KX65 this season. I will be at the World Minis and will do the qualifiers for Ponca & Loretta`s and other Nationals that come up, Lake Whitney, Hangtown, Thunder Valley, Glen Helen MX Nationals, Copper State Classic & California Gold Cup Series .

Some Personal Information About Me:

Hi. my name is Slater I am 7years old. I started riding when I was 2 on my PW 50. I am now riding a PRC LXRR50. Before the PRC I was on Cobra's. My first race on my KTM Pro Jr in Mesquite Nevada on Thanksgiving weekend 04, I didn`t do so good, but I finished and I`ve been practicing ever since. I love to ride my dirt bike and my BMX bike too. I used to race BMX but I`ve been too busy with my dirt bike. I love my Dad and Mom and my baby sister too. She is 5 now .  She has started racing her KTM Pro Jr 50. I have just started Second Grade, last year I was on Principal's Honor Roll all year.  I love to read! Just need to be quiet during class time and sit still.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I don`t currently have a "trainer", My dad is my coach. I would really like to have some professional training in the future. We are limited on time schedule and where we live. We don`t have a local track. If we did have a local track I think I would be alot faster! I only get to ride the tracks on the Weekends.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up I want to be a Professional MX racer, Fireman, Professional football player & a Doctor.

World Mini Grand Prix 06 - Finished 5th in the 4-6 mod class on a stock bike, and 9th in the 4-6 stock class!
CMC Copper State Classic Championship - 1st over all 4-6 50cc Class
Receiving Third place overall for the WORCS 05 series. It was very exciting being up on the podium. A great confidence booster.
