	Hey, the ponytails stay on the helmet with suction cups and a bit of assistance. They will stay on but I have used both silicone and velcro in addition. I really don't want to take a chance and make a new set after each race - lol I have washed them and they hold up really well. I am making some right now to sell - custom color hair and ribbons and I will just tell them the same thing. You guys goin to the Night Race?
