Shea Hodges was born and raised on the island of Oahu in a little town on the east side called Kailua. At 15 she moved in with her mom after her patents split to a town in Kauai called Hanalei. Working the HI surf circuit she competed in  NSSA and HASA and then moved on to the World Team Trials in South Africa. From there she moved between California and HI until finally settling in Oceanside CA riding for NK Surfboards (Natural Koncept), Insight Clothing, Monster, Etnies, and Aqua Surf Shop and is the Global Team Manager for the Keep A Breast Foundation.
