Scott started racing with his son in 2000. Since that time he has become very active in the off-road motorcycle community. He is currently the website director for the
TORO (Texas Off-road Racing Organization) racing series and maintains the
race-toro.org website. He currently races in the +35 class in
TORO,
TORN,
TORCS and
TCCRA.
He created two popular motorcycle websites
TxTracks.com and
TxOffroadTrader.com.
TxTracks.com is the premier site to find riding areas in Texas receiving over 3000 visitors a month. It currently maps over 100 MX tracks and trail riding areas using Google maps featuring an easy to use interactive map interface.
TxOffroadTrader is a free site to list used dirt bikes and atv's for sale and currently has over 300 registered users.
Scott's wife, Cindy, is on the board of directors for the
TORO race series and is the pee-wee race director. His son, Tyler, has worked his way up through the 65cc classes and currently races in the 85cc intermediate class in
TORO,
TORN,
TORCS and
TCCRA.
