Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I bought a motorcycle from a friend that needed the money and traded the bike for the car and the trailer.
What are you planning for next season?
We are going to plan to run about 18 shows at Caney Valley Speedway. We will just have to see how things go.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Taking apart and putting the car back together and not having left over parts and everything works right.
Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
I like using my hands and building things. I have loved dirt track racing since I was young. My inspiration to compete, is to take what you have built and worked hard on, to get an end result. The rush is amazing.
Why do you like this sport?
I was in motocross for many years when I was younger. It is very hard on your body, so when you get older and have more responsibility you can't take time away to heal up. This sport give you the same satisfaction without all of the pain.
Describe your style...
I don't know if I have a style just yet. I just started. I guess that I'm easy-going.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
The best road trip so far is going to Las Vegas, not to race but to get married.
How's Life Treating You?
I could not ask anything more out of life right now. I have a loving and caring wife, great friends, a good job, and racing. We are planning on starting a family soon and I'm excited to have another that I can have help in the garage.
