What inspires you to compete?
I like to challenge myself everytime I ride to increase my speed and technique in order to achieve the best results. I currently train with Justin Buckelew who also pushes me to work hard to acheive my goals.
Some Personal Information About Me:
My name is Ryan Blada, I am 16 years old and live in Goodyear, Arizona. I started trail riding when I was 10 years old on a Honda XR100 and entered in my first motocross race in April 2005 on a 1998 Honda CR80. My parents bought me a CR125 for my 8th grade graduation and I won the 125 Beginner class in the Amatuer Open 2006. I now have a 2007 KXF250. I live, eat and sleep racing and head out to train at three to four times a week.
Why do you compete?
I like to compete because it is fun, challenging, rewarding and you meet a lot of great people.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I would like to continue to compete in motorcross until I have the opportunity to turn Pro. Once I acheive that, I would like to travel and race around the country. My dad and I are going to compete in the Baja 1000 when I turn 16.
