How I got started

Long before I was ever born my dad has been shaping surfboards for a living. My older has been surfing at the pro level for quite a while now. Therefore surfing has always been in my family which made it feel quite natural when I started surfing at the age of four. I have been surfing ever since.

Goals for the Future

The last few years I have been surfing the NSSA Open Southwest Canference having great success. Within the next year or so when I feel I am ready and matured enough as a surfer, I plan on starting off my pro career in the WQS.

What inspires you to compete?

Being the the younger brother I have always looked up to my older brother. He taught me how to surf and still to this day inspires me to surf as hard as I can. When he went pro I decided thats what I wanted to do for a living when I get older. I was going to follow in his foot steps and compete and become a pro surfer.

Why do you compete?

The main reason I compete is to see how hard I can push myself and become the best surfer I can be. Personally I like to train my ass off all week and let my results speak for themselves on the weekend. I compete for one reason and thats to be the best.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love traveling, it keeps me from getting burnt out. I always love to surf new breaks and meet new people.
