2010 Rome Velo Elite Team

The Rome Velo cycling team was founded in the spring of 2004, in Rome GA.  Rome Velo is a USA Cycling road and mountain club.

Our riders reside in GA and NC.  We anticipate will have15 athletes for our 2010 roster. With this size and regional distribution, we will have a presence at every major race and many local races in the South East in 2009.  We primarily compete at the Category 3 level, but we are building a Category 2 team and for 2010 we are developing a juniors team. 

The roster for our team is a combination of very experienced master’s racers and young talent who will use our team as a stepping stone in the process of becoming a national caliber cyclist.  We are the only USA Cycling Team in NW Georgia.
