Well, season is coming to an end (booooo) and a dreadful winter awaits - but that doesn't mean its time for a break! We're starting our preparation for the 2009 racing season and this means tons of work ahead.

To start, both cars will be stripped and teared down completely for repairs and improvements - everything from engine, and complete drivetrain, all suspension components, and interior (whats left). Chassis will be stich welded and painted and a new built engine will be installed along with upgraded suspension components.

I've finally recovered from the long long weekend that was GT Live (sort of)... What an awesome weekend.

Tons and Tons of motorsports action available to a huge and energetic crowd - from the Pro Am National Drift to the KONI Cup Challenge to Redline Time Attack to go-karting, it was an awesome action packed weekend held in the world famous Virgina International Raceway in Alton, VA..

The JD Motorsports racing team had a great weekend. The Pro Am National Drift invited a total of 39 drivers from across the US to compete for a chance to receive the Formula D drifting license. From the 39 drivers, our white drift machine was able to Qualify 14th and make into the highly competative TOP 16! The battle was fierce and the competition was close. Unfortunately, Rod was eliminated by the 1st place winner Brian Wilkerson in TOP 16.

My name is Rod Campos and I'm a driver/team pricinpal for the JD Motorsports Racing Team, Inc. My partner Joe Duarte and I are extremely excited to be taking part of this new community and futurely meeting most of you in person as we travel the US.
