A thousand “Thanks” to the guys at Tachyon

for supplying team RocketJockey with the TachyonXC (best extreme cam on the market). Unfortunately in this case the camera captured one of my less than best performances.
The weather conditions were difficult all weekend and I took a gamble in the GP2 race going out on DOT tires, hoping the weather would change forming a dry line and allowing me a late charge in the race. Unfortunately I lost that gamble as you can see from the vid:
I am actually placing the side mounted Tachyon on the wall before I run to pickup the bike. The side Tachyon was on the right side when I crashed. The camera was unable to save the video, but I used the same camera to film my ESC600 race the next day! So I can say the shock proof claims have been thoroughly tested!
Split video of both the side and tail tachyon were edited together and these are the first 2 laps from my ESC600 race on Sunday. We were able to get off the line well, but the weather just didn’t cooperate enough for me to get enough dry practice time in over the weekend. So even though I was able to jump up to 8th place from 20-something on the grid by turn 2, I just was not able to keep pace with the leaders:
