Overview

How I got started

My dad told me stories about riding with his friends and his brothers when he was a kid and I thought that it sounded really fun. I then asked my dad if I could start riding and he immediatly bought me a Yamaha TTR 125. I have been hooked on racing ever since.

Goals for the Future

I would like to place int the top 20 at The Lake Whitney Spring National in all B and Schoolboy classes. I am also going to qualify in the different regions for Lorreta Lynn's. From there I want to make it in at least two classes to go to Lorreta's.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like going all over the country and meeting new people. I also just like the competiveness of racing, and there is nothing better than pulling a holeshot on a full gate of 42 riders.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am originally from Texas but I now currently live in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. I am very active in my church even though we are not always able to be there on Sundays. We are also very active with The Faith Racers Ministrys.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Of course I would love to be a Professional Motocross racer. I would like to be a trainer also so I could help other people reach their goals in motocross also.

How's Life Treating You?

This year has been very good to me. I trained very hard all spring. I qualified for Lorreta Lynn's in Red Bud, Michigan in the Mx Lites C Modified class. 12 days before Lorreta's I had a wreck which tore my AC joint in my write shoulder. I went to physical therepy everyday recovoring. I did not finish as good at Lorreta Lynn's as I wanted to, but I was still glad that I made it and I learned a lot from it. In September I spent a week at Heath Voss' house training for Branson nationals. I placed in the top 30 in all B classes and top 15 in the Schoolboy classes.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

Having my Mom drive a 40 foot motorhome and a 16 foot trailor is an adventure everytime.

Competitive Highlights

I won the 2008 Big Chill series in the Mx Lites C Class and the Schoolboy 2 class
