Overview

How I got started

I started racing in motocross at the age of 6 and crossed over to mtn. bikes at age 14. I never raced until the summer of 2003 when i attended my first mountain cross race at plattekill mtn. I won my very first race as well as the next one i entered. The next spring of 2004 i began racing downhill at plattekill mountain in the Beginner 18 and under class. I finished out that year 4th in my class. As 2005 has began i am racing the sport 19-24 catagory in the Plattekill Extreme series.

Goals for the Future

Next season i plan to move up to expert and be able to compete at the local mountians. I will be attending mount snow nationals and snow shoe nationals to compete in the expert class. I hope to also attend some park competitions in rye airfield New Hampshire.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I recently invested in my first brand new bike to take me through the next couple years. I purchased a santa cruz v10 which i hope will do me well in the future. My crossover sports are motocross, skiing and lacrosse. Ive race dirtbikes for about 12 years and thats how i relate my ridingon a mtn. bike is too my dirtbike. It all feels the same too me. being on two wheels is where i belong and plan on staying there for as long as humanly possible.

Competitive Highlights

When i started racing mountain cross i thought that maybe i might make the final in my first race but i actually ended up winning my race beating out a few adults in the class. In my second mountian cross event i made a clean sweep of qualifying and 2 rounds of racing. The final was a little more difficult this time but barable. I raced the junior 18 and under class at plattekill in 2004 and ended up 4th in the series with 2 missed races and 3 podiums in 5 events. In 2005 i moved up an age catagory to the 19-29 beginner class but in my first race i placed second so im moving up to sport in the next event.
