About Me

How I got started

I have watched my cousins race since I was little and wanted to do the same. I got my first bike for my 5th. birthday, it was a Yamaha PW50. I began racing shortly thereafter, although I finished in the top 11th. and 12th, my first year. My second year I improved my racing and came in the top five most of my races.

Recent years of racing.

I am now in my 10th year of racing. This year has been a big change for me. I started out the beginning of the season not knowing how i was going to do. Ever since i have moved up to the 250f i have been finishing mid pack in Schoolboy and about mid pack in 250B. I have been improving a lot since last years season and the beginning of this season. Throughout this season I plan on working heavily on my cornering to improve my speed.

Goals for the Future

I would like to make it to Loretta Lynn's again as I did in 2001. I am just more focused running as many local races as I can to try to get myself built and ready to try for Loretta's.

 Current year of racing

I am currently racing my 250f in the Schoolboy and 250B in CRA for the 2nd year. Next year I am planning on selling my 250f and moving to a YZ 250.

Competitive Highlights

I qualified for Nationals in 2001. I placed 39th overall in the Beginner PeeWee class. I was thrilled to be there. The sense of accomplishment when I saw that I was actually able to compete at this level was exciting.
