Redline’s founder was drawn to this fledgling sport for the same reason many other major brands began—he had a teenage son who wanted to give this new sport called “Bicycle Motocross” a try. It wasn’t long before Redline used its motorcycle technology in designing state-of-the-art products that wound up setting the standards for BMX these past four decades. Redline was the first company to manufacture tubular chromoly forks and cranks; both are products that have become today’s industry standard.
