Why do you compete?
I'm a very competitive person with everything I do. I love to suceed. With racing at the national level there are girls that give you so much more competition then at the local level, this pushes me to want to try harder so I can be at the top competing with the best.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I don't really call it training myself but I do stay active. With school and work during the week I only get to ride once or twice but still have time to run and exercise. The weekends though are when I have the most time to ride. If there isn't a race you can count on me still finding a track to practice at.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
This is my first year at Ohio University of Zanesville. I'm currently just taking some general classes because I really have no idea what I want to major in yet.
How did you get started?
A couple of my friends race quads, and I always loved going and watching them race, but my parents always said no, that I would get hurt. So I just started practicing and after I started getting better, and getting the hang of it I begged them to let me try it just once. So I did, and my mom liked it so much as well that we just kept going to the races every weekend.
List your competitive highlights:
The 2008 season is something I will never forget. This was my first year to do the ATVA National Series. I ended up 3rd in the Grand Slam points and 5th overall for the womens class.
What are you planning for next season?
Next season I will be doing the ATVA National Series again. Since they are every other weekend I want to do like I did this year and go to locals in between.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Finishing in the top 5 of my class overall at the national level
