Overview

How I got started

I got my first motorcycle when I was 11 years old and my first motocross bike when I was 14. I raced a few times after I got my motocross bike but I quit riding dirt bikes after I turned 16. I have owned a couple of street bikes over the years but just started riding dirt bikes again about 8 years ago. I decided dirt bikes would be a good, fun, family sport (and boy was I right!). I started racing in 2002 in the 250 beginner class. I finished the 2004 provincial series 8th overall in the plus 40 class. I finished the 2005 Provincial series 5th overall in vet jr. and 6th overall in the plus 40 class.

In 2006 I finished 4th overall in the plus 40 class and 6th overall in the vet jr. class

Goals for the Future

To finish in the top 5 at the Western Canadian amateur nationals.
To have top 5 finishes at all the rounds of the Alberta provincials.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am forty five years old, and work as a heavy duty mechanic. My spare time is spent racing, working on motorcycles, riding with my two sons (age 24 & 19) and the usual yard work etc.Racing is a family thing for us, as my 19 year old son also races. My wife does not ride, but comes to every race to support us because she loves motocross as much as we do.
