Ricky Allen
How did you get started?
I started riding when I was 4 on a mini trail 50. At the age of 12 I started racing on a CR60 and quickly moved to a YZ80 from there. It didn't take long to start running at the front and moving up. That seems like a long time ago.
List your competitive highlights:
In 2004 I qualified and competed at the Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals in the 30+ class (before B/C). I have won the Alabama State Championship Series in +25 and +30 in 2006 and 2007 and currently lead the points in those two classes.
What are you planning for next season?
Since our newborn son is here, I plan on getting back into race shape and qualifying for Loretta's again this year. I also plan on getting another number one plate in the Alabama State Championship Series.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
First and foremost, building a great family in my wife, and two sons.
Secondly, qualifying for Loretta Lynn's Am. National.
