Overview

How I got started

My brother got me started riding when I was 13 years old. My father bought me my first bike and my brother taught me how to ride.

Goals for the Future

This season I am looking to try and do something a little different.  I just bought a CRF450 and am looking to do more motocross this year.  I still plan on racing a few of the RMEC enduros throughout the year, but I really want to concentrate on improving on the track.  I plan on doing the VDR Harescrambles series here in Colorado, which is a mixture of motocross and offroad.  After getting used to the motocross type races in this series I am going to start racing in the SRAC motocross series.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it is always changing. No matter how many times you go out and ride you always find something new or learn or new trick to clear an obstacle. The sport itself is also progressing and there is so much new technology coming into play all the time that the bikes just get better and better and let you ride faster and longer than before.

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love to travel and just recently I went on an awesome trip. My buddy Tyler and I went to Denver, Colorado for a week and brought our bikes. We rode at Thunder Valley Motocross track like 3 weeks after they had the pro-nationals there so the track was super nice. We rode the track for two days and even had the entire track to ourselves for two hours one day. Besides riding we hung out with my cousins and checked out the local high school party scene.

Schools Attended

I graduated from Bonanza High School in Las Vegas in 2005. After that I attended a local community college for a semester but realized that was not for me. I currently attend the University of Denver in Colorado and am majoring in electricall engineering and minoring in mechanical engineering and math.

Competitive Highlights

Some of my highlights include taking first place in the MRAN GP in Havasu City, and the second place at the MRAN GP in Mesquite NV.  Another big accomplishment was winning my first ever enduro in Kimbal Nebraska last year, as well as competing in the Vegas to Reno race for the first time last season.
