What inspires you to compete?
I first started to compete when a couple of friends were doing it and I thought I would try it. From the first race I was hooked. I loved the pure thrill of a race. I also grew up watching motocross and supercross on t.v.
Why do you like this sport?
I really like this sport because it has a great environment. Everyone at the track is helpfull and friendly. Not too many people have attitudes, everyone just goes out and rides. I also love to compete and this is a great form of it. Its hard to say what the greatest part of the sport is but I do know that this is something I will do for the rest of my life.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I do cardio everyday riding a mountain bike or running, change it up a lot to keep it fun and different. I also lift weights three days a week generally doing three muscle groups each day. I focus a lot on endurance workouts but still include plenty of strength training. I do all this plus my riding during the week where I generally will try to just pound out motos with friends unless I really notice something im lacking and if so will focus my day on building that area of my riding. I really love training and the improvements it helped me achieve on the track.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
I have a few funny ones, I almost that about a fun story roadtripping to the LLq at aonia pass but this ones alright.
It started out as a normal trip with my friends ryan harrington and kyle cronin road tripping up to a track in georgia in the minnie winnie (kyle's motor home). It was a great weekend of riding with plenty of weird events taking place saturday night. After all was said and done we were driving back sunday night, after only being on the road for about 30 minutes we notice the motor home dieing and losing power. Let me just add that at this time, kyle had not been able to take the motor home on his own very often so this wasnt a good situation. What it came down to was the alternator was gone and the batteries kept dieing. We rode about an two hours at night with everything off in the motorhome including the lights outside. We pretty much could have been hit at any time but we made it back to jacksonville limping the motor home along. Since the radio was off, we had dj ryan harrington spitting raps the whole ride back.
