Self Interview
What are my biggest strengths?
My riding technique, and I am a fairly smart rider.
What are my biggest weaknesses?
Starts, first laps and sometimes not passing other riders as quickly as I should. However, I am improving on these things.
Why do I like riding?
First and foremost I love riding my dirtbike. It is
just plain fun or I wouldn't do it and put so much
money and time into it.
Secondly, I enjoy the challenge of constantly improving my technique, line choice, and ability on the bike. These things will help lead me to the results I have the potential to achieve.
The third reason I like motocross is the motivation I recieve from it. I am self motivated. However my competitors motivate me even more to improve and be the best I can be. I don't feel like I am riding near my potential yet, but only time and my results will tell.
Lastly, I have met some cool people through riding and racing. I enjoy going with my friends to new places to practice or race. It is also fun to learn from other riders and for them to learn from me.
What is the biggest problem with amateur racing?
Hype.
What have I learned from the G.O.A.T?
Ricky Carmichael has proven time and time again that racing is much more than bike skill. Many other factors contribute to getting consistently good results.
