Overview

How I got started

I bought my first ATV in 98. I had it for about two months. A local track was having a father`s day race, so my dad and I entered it. I have not stoped since.

Goals for the Future

For 2006, I plan on racing the Worcs series in the Prod A or Stock A on a 05 YFZ450 and 30+ A on a modified KFX 400. I am also planning on racing some local events at Marysville, Redding, ITP at Glen Helen and Klamoth Falls OR.

For 2007 continue racing the Worcs racing series, when I can get a break from work. But mostly concentrating on the local races in Marysville, Klamoth Falls,OR. and as well as working on getting local racing in Reno NV.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

My dad. I figure if he can still race at 58 years old and take home a 2nd place in Worcs, that is pretty good in my book, and I feel I have quite a few years left in me.

Some Personal Information About Me:

For 2006 I bought a new 05 YZF 450, My goal is to finish in the top 5 at the end of the season, or take home a championship in either Prod A , Stock A , or 30+ A. I am also looking forword to helping my dad in starting some racing at a local track. And help promote safe riding on ATV`s and being a good spokesperson/example for my sponsors. I also work with my dad to promote TSQRacing.

Why do you compete?

I compete because I enjoy it, I like to ride and it helps to relieve stress from work. And I now have my brother racing as well.

How's Life Treating You?

My life is treating me great so far. I got married this last year and I have a 12 yr old step daughter , that may start racing next year, and a wife that supports me for the riding that I love to do.  I now have a new son to add he was born on Dec. 12, 2006, so that he can be a future quad racer.

Employment / Experience Summary

I work for Granite construction, as carpenter foreman. I have been a union carpenter for about 15 years.  I have moved up now as well, I am currently working for UPA group, as an assistant superintendent on an 80 million dollar job.  Very exciting, but it does make it hard to ride sometimes with the added responsibilities from work.
