What inspires you to compete?
I think just having people better then me inspires me to compete. It helps push me so I can become a better skater.
Why do you like this sport?
I like skateboarding because it is an independent sport. When I was little I tried various team sports but there was nothing that I liked. When I came across skateboarding, I loved it so much because there aren't coaches to yell at you.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I usually skate in Philadelphia at Woodward Skatepark of Philly 4 days a week. It is the closest place that has a vert ramp to my house. It is almost 2hrs away but I go there four days a week. My mom and dad drive me. When I'm not skating vert, I use my trampoline in my backyard with an old skateboard deck or snowboard to try and get my spins and flip tricks better. Also, when I don't have access to the vert ramp, I skate street, bowls or mini ramp. I also work out by running at at the track, lifting weights and ect.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
I love to travel. The furthest away I have been from New Jersey is California, Oregon and Washington. I went there for some skateboard competitions (Oregon Trifecta 2007 and X-Games 2008 and 2009). I've never been out of the country but I would love to go to Europe and South America and New Zealand.
Music?
I always listen to music when I skate. The only time I'm not listening to music when I skate is at a contest. I like all different types of rock music and hiphop.
