Hey, sponsored riders send me your best action photos and/or photos of you and your machine. I am going to create a rider gallery to show our riders doing what they do best. Send the photos to jshumate@pivotworks.com. Thanks, and good luck in the upcoming races. If you need anything in the future give me a shout. |

Pivot Works support riders make sure you have sent a copy of your contract in to us. That way when you call to order parts we will be able to locate your info and discount. Thank you and good luck in the upcoming races. |

8-11-2009 We have a new employee (Shay Moore) just joined the C&L Companies team. Shay is taking a Customer Service Rep. / Technical Support position. Below is a short interview we did to give him a little exposure. Question 1 Shay, where are you originally from, and what is your age? A. I grew up in Montezuma, IA., and I am 20 yrs. old. Question 2 What type of schooling or training have you had before you came here? A. I am a graduate of the MMI training out of Phoenix, AZ. Question 3 Did you enjoy and/or benefit from the training? A. I did enjoy and benefit from the school. They are the most well known hands on Power Sports technical school I know. Question 4 What made you decide to jump into the Power Sports Industry? A. I have been riding since I was a little kid, and I always knew I wanted somehow to be involved in this industry. So I took the appropriate steps and here I am. Question 4 So you ride, what manufacture/model/brand preference do you have? A. Yes, I race Motocross & Arena cross in 250 B and open B. I ride a KTM 250 SXF. Gear wise I like Shift and Troy Lee Designs. Question 5 Do you have any specific career goals or plans as of now? A. Honestly, I am going to just take it how it comes. Being an enthusiast and new to the Industry side of this I believe the opportunities are endless. Question 6 Have you had any experience using our products before joining the C&L team? A. Yes, up until the past couple of years I was on Honda, and used the Pivot Works fork seal kits, and the Hot Cams for a little extra power. Shay, I would like to thank you for taking the time to do this interview. |

To all rider support and insiders, this Friday will be my last day at C&L Companies (Hot Cams, Hot Rods, Pivot Works, Cylinder Works, & Vertex Pistons). It has been an extremely hard decision, but I have decided to take an opportunity to move back home closer to my family and take over one of our family businesses. It will be a huge change, and I believe it is an opportunity I cannot pass up. I would like to thank all the people at C&L Companies for giving me a chance to work in and grow to love the exciting and driven industry. I will take many fond memories of people in the industry as well as many enthusiasts that I have met with me. I would like to thank all for this and hope to ride with many of you in the future. Everything offered in our rider support program will remain unchanged and looked after. Thank you for everything. Good luck to all, Joe Shumate |
