Q&A - Competition
How did you get started?
I started racing in the late 90's when most of the buddies I had been riding with had quit riding. I figured it was safer than riding alone and it would put me around people who shared my passion.
List your competitive highlights:
Winning the 2006 Glenhelen HYR Endurance series
What are you planning for next season?
I am going to race the WORCS series, also some USDR and some OTHG races. My main focus will be the WORCS series where I plan to better my over all finish of 5th for the year by winning the whole thing.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Racing wise just being in one piece considering how often I hit the ground. Over all though being a good dad is more important than any thing I Will ever accomplish racing.
Q&A - Personal
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am a married father of two boy's (Isaac&Caleb) and an avid cyclist. I am also a big VW geek.
What inspires you to compete?
Dirt bike racing is not something that has come real easy to me, so having to work really hard at it and to see improvement in it had really inspired me.
Why do you like this sport?
This sport is full of great people. For the most part it is very family oriented, even your fiercest competitor is likely your friend after the checkered flag drops.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
My training consists of cycling and riding. I spend three day's a week on some sort of bicycle and try to ride my dirt bike at least twice.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
As long as my family gets to go I Love to travel, if not I can get a little home sick.
