A little about me

I am a grade 8 student at St.Eugene's French Immersion School. I am fluent in three languages - English, French and Polish. I play on many school teams - basketball, volleyball, football and soccer, and I also run cross country and track. At home, I like bmx, swimming, and skiing. However, my life revolves around motorcycles.

Since I was 6, I've been racing motorcycles. I started with motocross, then arenacross and supercross. I like riding flat track and speedway, trails and hare scrambles because each one of them requires you to have different skills. My main focus, however, is motocross and arenacross. During the summer, I practice 3-4 times a week, and race every weekend in Canada or the USA. In the winter, we travel to Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana every other weekend to practice indoors. Recently, an indoor track has opened in Canada and I will be practicing there as well. There is a lot of background work that goes into my racing. I follow a strict diet and training program. I work out every other day by lifting weights and riding an indoor trainer, skipping or running.

It is a lot of work, but it is rewarding. I like travelling and seeing the country, meeting new people and Pro riders, and most importantly, I love racing - standing on the line with 40 other riders all going after the same first place, and knowing I can be one of the best, it's a great feeling.

The Future

For next year I will be moving up to big bikes, and I will be riding a KTM 125sx. If I'm not too big for my 85, I will try to qualify for Loretta Lynn's. I will be competeing at WNYMA in the Gold Cup Championships, Mini O's and the Canadian Nationals. I will continue with my training program to keep up my fitness and hope for a great year with no injuries!
