So as the Team Manger for Oxtar I get alot of calls from Agents, team managers, moms and dads, and racers asking to be sponsored by Oxtar. This made me think of what could be a monthly section in our Blog entitled: Should Oxtar Sponsor....... or Are They Worthy?
The first ever Are They Worth? ( I like this title) is non-other than Factory Connection's newly hired gun Travis Preston. Now as a fan I like Travis. He has always had something witty to say when he gets on the podium, and usually makes the crowd and fans watching on TV laugh. At least I laugh and that is what I like about him. He mixes it up and not afraid to dice it up on the track as well.
Travis's Agent came to me the other day asking if Oxtar was interested in making Travis our Number 3 guy on the pro SX Series. Only with it came a price tag, of course, but that is really not the point. Every rider at his level is going to ask for money and quite frankly he deserves to get paid. If I had accomplished what he has done, I would expect that curtesy as well. So we will give it to him if my higher powers that be decide they want him. I know my choice but I would like to hear from the Oxtar supports and overall fans of the sport.
Should Oxtar Sponsor Travis Preston. If Yes then Why... If No, then why not. How much should Oxtar pay for his services? 5K?, 10K? 50K? I want to hear your opinions and we'll have an open forum on it. Currently Travis is riding in Gaernes but that deal is rumored to be up in the not so distant future.
So I leave it to you Oxtarians. Travis's fate is in your hands. Speak and you shall be listened to.

Oxtar`s TCX Pro boot sets the standard for protection in high-end boots by offering the latest in ankle support technology, and is preferred by riders Such as Kevin Windham and Nathan Ramsey. The TCX Pro offers the patented Torsion Control System (TCS) which allows controlled lateral and front to back bending movement of the ankle through 4 flexure points on the sides of the boots, and 2 flexure points on the heel. Simply put, the TCS helps prevent hyperextension of the ankle by providing stopping points without restricting movement.
