Words of Wisdom to Live By

Remember:  Write your own script.  Then produce it yourself and find yourself living the way you want to.  That's freedom, that's power and that's winning.  --  Donald Trump, taken from "Why We Want You To Be Rich" with Robert Kiyosaki

Q&A - Personal

Some Personal Information About Me:

I was Born and raised in Dallas, Tx. I joined the US Navy 5 days after graduating high school in 1989 and spent my summer vacation saying, "Yes, sir and/or No, sir." :-) I had a blast. Upon graduating as Honorman of my Company (#243) I traveled to VA for job school and then proceeded to Yokosuka, Japan for my first duty station. I was stationed aboard the USS MIDWAY (CV-41), USS INDEPENDENCE (CV-62) and then went to Misawa, Japan for a little shore duty. While aboard the first two ships, I was fortunate enough to see places like: The Philippine Islands, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia (3 different ports), Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Africa, Yemen and Kuwait. So, I've been almost everywhere on the west coast. After my tours in Japan, I came to the states to Cali and had a blast for 3 years. While there, I did a little "extra" work for Stu Seagall Productions (Silk Stockings and Pensacola Wings of Gold) and that was an experience. In 2000, I left the west and went east. I was stationed at a shore facility in Mayport, Florida for 3 years then went to VA for a year and back to Mayport to the USS TAYLOR (FFG-50) for a couple of years. I, again, was fortunate to see more of God's beautiful blue marble. I went to places like, Italy, France, Turkey and a few more. I was on my last tour of duty at Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing ELEVEN at NAS Jacksonville, Fl., but now I'm on permanent vacation awaiting retirement in just a few months and it's so exciting to be able to say that I've traveled around the world, twice (literally). I'm with my first love and my son and life is great. Now for the future, I plan to become a Sport Compact Drag Racer, Professional Bowler, and a medal-winning member of the US Olympic Fencing Team in 2012. So, I have some things to get done. I am a very outgoing, funny, persistent, and optimistic person. I always try my best to look at the positive in everything and everyone. That has been my downfall a few times, but more often than not it's been a Good Life. :-)

Why do you compete?

I love to compete. It's just something in me that gets fired up and I go for the win. The challenge of out-smarting, out-manuevering and just plain ole going for it is a RUSH!! Many of you on here know exactly what I mean. It's kind of hard to explain, unless the recipient has been through it themselves.

What inspires you to compete?

The competition itself and the drive to be the best. One should never stop dreaming, because without dreams we have NO PURPOSE or DRIVE. If there is something inside of you that you want, STRIVE FOR IT. Persistence is one of the keys to SUCCESS and PROSPERITY.

Music?

I like all kinds of music, however, my favorite kind is House (Chicago mainly, but Deep and Underground) and Techno/Trance/Electronica. Being out on the dancefloor and letting the beat take control is "surreal".

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Do we ever have to grow up? I know many of you older folk are saying, "You have to grow up and get a job, pay bills, have a family, etc. etc." However, one can do all of those things, but stay young at heart and in mind and not let Life's stressers drive him/her insane. So, have fun and remember, you are only as old as you think. ;-P

Wow thanks for asking, Wesco has been selling at the lowest price for racing clothes and products for the last 4 years. Drag racing is expensive, but I am not sure about the other racing...Some racers start off with an inexpensive car, but don't go any further. We were fortunate that my Dad could do a bunch of the engine work and he could offer us funds. We are the best of the best, get on TV, magazines, newspapers, etc, but still find it hard to explain how much a company would benefit with our team for exposure and increase in sales. The best thing to to is to know somebody that knows somebody. You are very attractive so you wouldn't have any trouble as far as appearance, the thing you should do is try to spend a few weekend with each type of racing and you should have an idea which sport would benefit you more. Most drag racers love to help people out, so maybe you could offer a trade in help for experience with a team.

Good Luck,
Nick and Chelle
