About me

Why do you like this sport?

I just like riding by little kids bike and spending time with my family. BMX allows me to do this and make friends along the way.

What inspires you to compete?

Trying to set a good example for young people to follow is one thing that pushes me. Another is the fact that I am 35 and racing SuperX and A Pro at most races. Just being able to not make a fool of myself out there is inspiration to me.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 35 years old, Originally from Celina Ohio. I Joined the Marines when I was 18 right after high school. I have traveled all over the world and done a lot of cool stuff. I have been in for 16 years now. I'm Married and have a 16yr old Daughter (Kyla Reed) that races NBL Elite Women and ABA Ladies Pro. She rides for Factory Morphine Ind. As far as I know we are the 1st Father/Daughter to ever race pro at the same time. We turned pro together and at our 1st race there wasn't enough Elite Women to form a class so we raced each other!

Describe your style...

I am 35 years old, I don't have any style. Unless SKETCHY is a style. I just try to be as powerfull and smooth as I can.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I am in the gym Monday through Fri. I run a few miles 2-3 times a week. Go to the track 3-4 times a week. I try to do sprints on the days I don't ride the track. Recently I have incorporating plyometric training and it's really starting to pay off. Since Im older and got started later in life I have to put in more work than the younger guys and I am playing catch up to the other Vet Pro's that have been racing for many years.
