I compete because it is a rush and I love it. I like to see how far I can push myself.
Employment / Experience Summary
I graduated from West Point and am currently a 2LT in the United States Army. I am an Aviator and will head down to Fort Rucker, Alabama for helicopter flight school in the Summer of 2008. In 2006, I was deployed with 1-506th, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) as a Saw Gunner in the Battalion's Scout/Sniper Platoon. We spent all our time in Ramadi, Iraq conducting combat operations.
Why do you like this sport?
I really got into the sport after I came back from Iraq. It is a lot of fun because it involves three different sports and offers a variety when training.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I am almost 25 years old and have only been training in the sport for a year. I am really exited to race in 2008 because I am coming off my first winter of training and I have an awesome coach, Tony DeBoom.
