Hey everybody,

I have been ridng alot and getting better.  I'm sure you heard about my accedent in october 2007, and I had a recent one that had to do with my arm.
But I'm going to hit Lake Whitney, Oak Hill, Ponca And Lorretta Lynn's.
I've been training with my dad every day after school and I hope that my training will get me a title this year and I know I'm going to have to work very hard for it and I am.
I'm not doing any areanacross this season witch is a bummer cause I really liked that series but its all in California and thats a long way from New Mexico. I just wanted to let everybody know how things are going.

Wow,  It's BIG!  and a lot of fun.  I got to see some of my old friends and some great racing.

My racing could have been better.  I was really nervous and didn't get good starts.  With this level of competition it is really hard to make many passes.

Now that I have experienced it, I'll be ready next year.

See you at the track,

Nick

Well... I made it!  It wasn't easy.  I sprained my ankle in the last moto of the South West qualifier in Moriarty, NM.  The next week we went to the Thunder Valley qualifier to qualify for the South Central region, as a back-up in case I didn't make it at South West Regional, in Glen Helen, Ca.  I qualified in the Stock class, but not in the Mod.  The competition was strong and my ankle really hurt, so I wasn't able to do the big jumps.  Plus I didn't have a Mod bike yet.

At Glen Helen, I got bad starts and went down a couple times.  Needless to say, I didn't make it to Loretta's.  The next week, we went to the South Central Regional Qualifier at the Cycle Ranch, in San Antonio, Tx.  I got into the Mod class as an alternate.  I went down in the first moto of the Stock class and took a 20th.  I thought the Stock class was my best chance to make it to Loretta's.  I raced the Mod class for fun and track time.  I finished 10th over-all in the Stock class with 20-8-9 motos.  I finished 5th over-all in the Mod class with  5-6-12 motos.

My Mod bike ran great! Thanks to KTM/Munn Racing for their support in getting the bike set up.  I was able to run in the front pack with my Mod bike.  I don't know why, but with my stock bike, I couldn't run up front.  Thanks to all my other sponsors as well.  Every little bit of support helps out.

See you at Loretta's...  Yeeeeeee Haaawwwww,

Nick

Lake Whitney was a lot of fun. Seeing and racing many of the top amateurs is really cool. I got 13th in the 65 stock class and 25th in the mod class with my stock bike (I really need a mod bike Dad). The 85 class did not go as well. I ran out of gas in my 85 stock qualifier and my clutch went in the LCQ. I ran my 65 in the second moto of the Jr. mini and took 25th. The weather was great, we had a good time and learned a lot. I'm looking forward to coming back next year.

Wow, Denver was a lot of fun... I got another kiss from Ashley(Miss AX) and I qualified for the finals in Las Vegas on both my 65 and 85.  I got bad starts in both mains, but was able to work my way up to 5th, so I was happy with my motos because it is really hard to pass in AX.  The only bad thing was when I fell out of a friends golf cart and scraped most of the skin off my elbow while fooling around on the ice in the parking lot.
