Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
The thrill and physical exertion, Danger and reward.
Employment / Experience Summary
Well, I've been racing MX since 1972 so I've seen a lot of changes in the sport I fell in love with in high school.
I've been lucky enough to work in the action sports industry for over 30 years. Sales rep,Marketing and product development kept me involved in an active healthy lifestyle. I've designed tires for Maxxis and worked at Fox Shox. I've Run Pro Mt bike teams and raced around the US and Canada.
All in all I've had a good time and I'm not ready to quit any time soon.
Describe your style...
My style off the track is usually laid back and gregarious. On the track I try to ride as clean and controlled as possible. In practice I work on being smooth. Speed comes from being smooth, carrying corner speed etc.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Happy, content with my achievments in life.
