Overview

How I got started

I love speed. My family has always been interested in racing, Boat Racing, NASCAR, Motocross and ATV. At age 4, atv racing seemed really cool to me so my mom and dad gave me a Suzuki LT-80. We have a field beside our house and my dad and I would ride a lot together. I would watch the x-games and then go outside and try tricks on my atv!

In 2006, the week before Christmas my parents gave me a new KTM 65.  I started racing it the next week in Asheville.  I finished my very first motocross season and series with a 2nd place finish in the 65 Beginner Class and 5th in the 65 10-11 Class.

I'm taking off the winter from indoor arenacross and i'll work on fitness and practicing on weekends.  I've decided to start wrestling with my school.  I can't officially wrestle until the 7th grade, but I've started working out with the wrestling team everyday and I joined the "Wrestling Club" at the local high school.  It has been a lot fun for me and for my Dad!

Goals for the Future

I enjoy racing.  But my future goal is to be an engineer.  I hope to be an engingeer in some form of racing; either motocross, atv's, legend cars or Nascar.

What inspires you to compete?

The Competition and the Challenge.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 11 years old. I will be in the 6th grade. I am an A student and enjoy math, science, gym and AIG. AIG is an extra class that I go to because I was bored in regular classes. All of the kids in that class are Academically and Intellectually Gifted. I have a passion for racing for competition.  Every chance I get, I enjoy camping and being at the lake, and hanging out with the guys that help take care of my bike at Chapman Performance. I enjoy doing things that use strategy and creativity like playing chess, stratego, xbox, or Legos. My parents encourage me to do whatever my passion drives me to do. Racing is just a lot of fun for me.  Recently, I've been helping my dad work on Legend Cars at the Summer Shootout at Lowes Motor Speedway and that is a lot of fun!

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I train lifting weights and cardio and riding my bicycle, jumprope and I like to play tennis and golf.

Why do you compete?

I love to race. I compete with myself. I don`t have to rely on anyone, its just me and my dirtbike.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I always wanted to be an aeronautical engineer for Dale Earnhardt Jr/Nascar and run the wind tunnel. I then decided I wanted to be like Bill Ballance and Chris Borich and be an ATV Champion.  Recently, I have fallen back to my first dream of being an engineer.  I want to continue racing motocross/arenacross and  use my experience to help me with my engineering career.
