Overview

How I got started

When I was younger my dad had a motorcycle. It was a 1981 KX 125 and I dreamed every day of having a motorcycle of my own. Because I maintained a 3.5 grade point average and assisted in remodeling our house my parents surprised me with my first dirt bike on the last day of Fourth Grade. It was a Suzuki DR 100 and I was thrilled! That was the most exciting day of my life. I immediately excelled and began to practice jumping. The first time that I rode on a motocross track I was completely addicted and I have continually pushed myself to become the next superstar.

Goals for the Future

I have just recieved my pro lisence and I want to round up enough sponsorship money to try and qualify for the Last 6 Lucas Oils Outdoor Nationals... we will see how it goes

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

From the age of five years old I have idolized motocross racer Kevin Windham. Before my first race, at the age of nine I saved my own money for a subscription to Dirt Rider. I have completely built my self image with motocross. As a kid I wanted to dress and act just like the professionals on television and in the magazines. Now, as an adult I enjoy motocross because in most sports the results rely on every player where as in Motocross the results rely solely on the rider and their supporting sponsors. Without the support of sponsors it would not be possible to compete. This is one of the only sports where performance is immediately recognized.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I live in Eastern Washington and in Northern California. I race all over the Pacific Northwest. I have become very well known in my area and have been receiving more and more recognition for my ability to race. I attend college with a full ride scholarship at Eastern Washington University and plan to major in who knows what. Throughout my life I have always been a very competitive and athletic person and racing motocross is my passion. I am very outgoing and enjoy making people laugh. I am also teaching younger kids to race at their full potential and feel a sense of responsibility and accomplishment in making myself a good role model for them. I do not smoke or drink and continually encourage others to do the same. You will not be disappointed with my representation of your company.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I endurance and strength train seven days a week. My endurance training consists of running for 25 minutes followed by an elevated 25 minute bike ride. My strength training includes upper body, core and leg workouts.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Of course, the one thing I want to be when I grow up is a Professional Rider with a Full Factory Sponsorship. I have spent the past ten years striving toward this goal. With your support I will attain this goal and I am proud to have the opportunity represent your company.

How's Life Treating You?

Life is good. I live in a beautiful area; I have the opportunity to race motorcycles, I have a full scholarship for college; I have a great job, CycleGear is the Jam!
