Why do you compete?

Because it's fun. There is nothing like the thrill of competitive racing.

Why do you like this sport?

I like watercross because it is growing and always evolving to the next level. The racing is highly competitive but the atmosphere it the pit area between racers is very friendly and posititve. I also love the sport because it is a family sport for me. My father-in-law is our crew chief and my cousin, Kevin Hunter is my racing teammate. My wife and 2 young daughters also come to every race as well as many other family members and friends from time to time.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 26 and live in Marion, CT with my wife and 2 daughters. I am a Financial Advisor but spend my free time with my family and watercross racing.

How did you get started?

I started going to watercross races when I was still in diapers. My father and uncles competed in the early 80's and when I moved back to Connecticut from Florida in 2000 my relatives were still watercross racing but the evolution of the sport amazed me and I had to do it.

I am working on adding a mod 800 oval sled and a 2003 rev 600ho jump sled for next season. These are in addition to the mod 700 and mod 600 that I will still be running. I am really excited about the outlook for next year with the new sleds plus the improvments to the current sleds. My teammate, Kevin Hunter, is also adding new sleds to his lineup and we are very much looking forward to next season.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Being competitive at the highest level and having my family at all the races.
