Overview

How I got started

My dad used to race. He raced for about twenty five years and I just naturally got into it from seeing him do it. For my fifth birthday I got a pw 50. The first year I only raced a couple times. The year after that we started racing heavy and I just picked up from there.

Goals for the Future

I haven't been racing much since I was deployed to Iraq all last summer so I am tryin to get back into the top five out here in California. I want to get some good solid races under my belt and see where that takes me.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The main thing that inspires me to compete is my dad. He has been my influence since I started racing. My friends and I all encourage each other to be the best that we can be. My wife really motivates me to race. She pushes me to keep working on my strength, endurance, and riding.

Describe your style...

There have been a lot of people, this year especially, that have said i look a lot like Davi Milsapps when I ride. I don`t know if this is true or not because i can`t watch myself race. I kinda have my own style I guess.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Being in the Marine Corp has put me in the best shape of my life. We run a minimum of three miles every morning. At lunch I usually go to the gym and lift for an hour or so. When I get home I usually do a little bit of desert riding before dinner.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would like to start my own track out here in twentynine palms. Next year I am going to try for my pro liscense and hopefully make a couple nationals.                                                                                                                                                                                        Employment / Experience Summary

Right now I am employed by the United States Marine Corp. I love it. It is alot of really hard work but it all pays off in the long run. It gives me the discipline to stay on a strict work schedule and do whatever i put my mind to. Before that I worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken for about three years as well as McNaughton McKay for about a year at the same time.

Competitive Highlights

I have made it to three regionals. I made it on my 65. I crashed while I was leading my qualifier and dislocated my shoulder and still managed to make it into the main. Then in the main someone didn`t do a jump and I landed on them and fractured my collar bone. I made it on my kx 85 and I just had a really off weekend and ended up spraining my wrist. Three years ago I made it to the regional in the 125B mod and stock. My dad was making suspension changes during the practice Friday. It didn`t work very good and I crashed in the whoops at Red Bud and sprained my wrist. Then I got a flat tire next practice and crashed going off of a triple. I still managed to get 24th.
