Overview

How I got started

I watched a few local races then I decided to try it myself and I haven`t looked back since.

Goals for the Future

I`ll primarily race the TQRA events as well as local points series races. I will also compete in as many ATVA National MX and WPSA events that time and money will allow.

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a native Arkansan. I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science. My wife, Tammie, my daughter Emma, and our dog, Boogie, an Australian Cattle Dog. She enjoys attending races with me although shes not a big fan of the traveling involved. I enjoy camping and hiking and generally anything else that allows me to get outside.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Yes I train often. I ride as much as possible as well as weight training and cardio. I prefer jogging but I also ride my bicycle. I do cardio 3-5 days a week year round. My weight training schedule varies depending on the time of year. During the season, I go lighter weights, more reps 2-3 days a week. In the off season, I`ll add more weight and fewer reps 3-5 days a week.

Music?

I listen to a wide array of music such as Blink 182, Linkin Park, Jay-Z, Led Zepplin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Slipknot, The Dropkick Murphy`s, and Limp Bizkit. I like almost anything that has a good beat that can get me pumped up.

Why do you compete?

I compete because it gives me a goal. I`m not only racing others, I`m also racing myself. I love the mental challenge that goes along with the competition. Its like nothing else in the world, nothing compares!!

How's Life Treating You?

Overall, life has been treating me pretty well. I`m healthy and happy. I`m always looking for more but I`m not sure it can get much better right now.
