wow it felt like i swam the whole day between the drills and distance workout. I beat my training partner there today and knocked out a quick 2000 meters, so i decided to keep going so i did another 2000 without stopping and added another 1000 on top of that. i thought he would tap my head at the end but he began to workout on his own thinking that i was not there. i stopped at 5000 and was feeling pretty good so i went to his lane and asked why he did not stop me, he never saw me either. so we did sprint drills after my 5000, and man is he fast in the water doing 1:45 drills for the 100 after 6 i dropped back to 2:00 for the 100, after 10 of those i was toast. i have been doubting myself and my workouts because of my injuries....well that is over watch out rhode island here i come i have 2 weeks to get my mind right and you better believe i will do what it takes.... i read an article about the las ironman an the guy that gave up his kona spot you made another athletes dream come true. may god bless you and good training...

well all that live in san diego know how hot it has been here so i decided to do a brick today because the temperature was a little cooler. so i rode 30 and ran a short 4 just to get my legs back the total work out was a tad under 2 hours. i felt good but i ran in the new zoot shoes because the newtons just wore so fast during training. also i made a hydration change, after talking to MotorTabs this week they gave me a idea to ad CarboPro to my bottles. I started with one scoop to see how my stomach would react. it was all good. came home and showered took a nap and i feel none the worse for wear. Thanks Motor Tabs for the support. well good training

well i did a nice long swim today with a training partner and he was using the hand paddles while i swam in the same lane as him. i just really focused on my stroke and was able to beat him in the 100 drills that we did. i used them to focus on my stroke and they really make you pay attention to your stroke. his race is 9 days away and mine is 23 so i will be training alot by my self this week while he tapers for his .. i wish him luck. good training,,,,,,

Wow what a week, Been doing two a days every day this week since i returned from Texas, i feel good but sore and feel like taking a day off to rest my body and recover. i got 140 bike miles and 40 run miles along with 6 swim miles and i feel a little run down. was going to do a long ride today through encinitas but just dont feel like it . also over all i feel like i am making gains but only feel about 75 percent and with my race only a month away i know mentally i have to keep it together, along with physically. the goal is not do anymore damage and rehab after this race. well good training...

Wow it is hot in Texas, heat index of 107, insane.... the people are nice , but i dont think i would like to live there where is the beach?... any did some swimming today just a little under 4000, did some 100 drills and i have dropped 15 seconds of my 100 hundreds.... then went for a bike ride averaging at 21 to 22 mph with a heavy wind. with out the wind i can sustain about 25 to 26 mph which gives me about a 2:45 bike hopefully. i have a bad time on the bike it seem every race so we have been working on sustaining a higher rpm for me. but over all the hamstring tear is healing slowly but it is healing. patience is a virtue and i am virtued out ...... well good training...

finally got to lay it out a little bit today and ran 7.5 miles as a work out . i love running , did i say that all ready. you really dont know what you miss until it is gone. we ran the first 4.2 in just a tick under 7 minutes. and the second 3.3 at just over seven minutes a mile. but hey you gotta start some where.
good training.
