Well there is only 6 weeks left before ironman california 70.3, i feel a little behind schedule but strong. the only factor is my hamstring from my previous injury. i can not sleep at night because around 3 to 4 am i get a massive flex in my glut on the affected side . this will wake me up out of a dead sleep, does any one have any suggestions ? because this really sucks!!!!, i have made small adjustments to get a nap in during the day, but whenever i am dormant for a period of time it happens. i think i will try yoga and see if that helps out, Now that i am off for supercross until april i can focus on my training. Traveling every weekend was killing my training program. Friday we rode part of the course and i feel good on the bike , i am maintaining a higher speed than i did during the race so that feels good . run distances are good and the speed is a little of due to i can not kick like i normally do but we are making adjustments for that also. Lost some sponsors and got some new ones working on a new clothing sponsorship we will see how that goes in a few weeks. the weather is changing in southern california so we will get some more time to train out doors her soon. well thats it gotta hit the pool this a.m. good training

Well San Diego has been very wet and cold this past week, it looks like we get a break for a couple of days and it gets cold and wet again. Sunday i went for a long run in the cold and the rain, did the same on friday because i missed my long ride. I gotta tell you the Christopher Bean coffee gets my mornings started, and i love the stuff i prefer the jamacia blend, and my motor tabs keeps me hydrated during my long training days. Just a hint had a scoop of carbo-pro for a little extra energy and it taste the same. Ran on Friday with my training partner he has gotten faster from last year, the only problem is he only has 2 gears fast and walk but we are working on that. Hope to get a long ride and swim in this week, 2 a days start feb 15th so i love those workouts they are just time consuming but i always feel my best during that time and i seem to get more rest because i force my self to. well thats all for now and good training!!!

Well I feel better and better every day, the distances are getting longer and not as hard. That is how it is supposed to work right?. I have been learning some new tricks along the way. With that in mind nothing replaces training day in and day out as we all know. The Hamstring is feeling better every day that i get out there and work it. the runs have been over an hour and the bikes at the 40 mile range and it feels great to be able to go those distances again. I just wan thanks everyone that has stayed with me in these trying times and i look forward to california in april. to all good training...
