Wow how time off helps and heals, the human body is an amazing thing. The hamstring is coming together without the push of me. What i mean is finally it is starting to feel normal and the strength is coming back. I have cut back on speed for a while and concentrated my efforts on quality and distance. I feel like each week we go farther and the bike feels better and better, even when a better rider crushes me and puts me back in my place . Next week we add more to the schedule and i hope that the progress is not wasted. Sometimes when we stop and listen we can actually get more out of it. So to everyone that has helped me with my workouts thanks i appreciated your help. I look forward to my bike workouts where before i dreaded them, so progress is taking me forward. I hope everyone's training is going well and look forward to seeing you on the roads doing what we do. good training!!!!

The new year is here and the training starts to get serious in order for the first race to be a good one and to test all the cool stuff you got for christmas (hopefully). Well i have to decided to attack my weakness on the Tri and it is my bike, man i really suck on it so these recent weeks we have added the hill climb workout routine once a week in order to build strength and confidence. well i have to say i went out today and had a great ride on my hilly course and thought about going longer but don't wanna push it too early and mess my self up with another injury. The big hills don't feel has hard to do and i am doing them faster, i really wish that i could have afforded a trainer this year but no luck so it will be just me and my friend making it happen. The only down fall of the ride today was the stupid fall over after not being able to get out of my pedal on the bike, but hey i will take it . the intersection was a big one and i'm sure that i made everyones day with my comedy routine, at least thats the way i see it so it does not bother me . well i am looking forward this year and plan on doing alot more bike work to better my time for california 70.3. i would like to thank my sponsors for the vote of confidence this year as i know that it is tough for everyone financially. so good luck and good training and remember " once you've been on the bottom , you can only stay there or do something to move up!"
