How I got started
I started racing by joining the Michigan Racing Association in 1999 at age 10. I starting racing locally on a PW80 on the Pee Wee track. I quickly moved up to a KX65.
In 2000, I graduated with my KX65 to the big track, and soon up to a KX85 soon after. Since there was no competition in the girls class, I started competing in the 85CC beginners class and received the #1 plate in this class for the 2000 racing season.
In 2002, I joined the American Racing Association and began visiting various AMA tracks in Michigan. It was only then I realized what true competitive was.
I first began attempting to qualify for the LL National in 2003 on my KX 100 in the Girls` Junior and qualified for it after the regional at Dutch Sport Park in Bloomingdale, Michigan. I began running GNCC races this past year.
Goals for the Future
My goalto become faster to become a better rider for the Womens` Senior class. I plan on attending WMA Amateur events to qualify for my Women's Pro license and to race at Loretta Lynn's again this coming year to make this the fifth year competing there. I also plan on qualifying for Ponca City again in 2009. My realistic goals are to be in the top 20 senior women at Loretta Lynn`s. This goal is based on previous finishes against other women whom have been successful at national events this last year and moto finishes at Loretta Lynn's itself. I began running GNCC races this past year and plan on racing all of the upper east coast rounds I plan on being in the top 10 in points in this year's GNCC series.
