P.R.O. NW National MX Series
WOW, what a week-end. It started out very sad... a young boy had died the week-end before at the track during a practice. It was open practice and he was on a little bike and a big bike came up to do a jump and didn't realize the little boy had gone down and hit him. The boy died. So each day of the race week-end a memorial was done in memory of him. It definately reminds us that safety should always come first because accidents do happen. During my first moto a couple of girls went down in front of me and I ended up at the bottom of the pile. My helmet took most of the impact, when a bike came right over the top of me. I still got up and finished 9th overall. 2nd moto was better. I got a great start and finished 3rd overall, so for the day I ended up 4th. was stoked. The competition was fierce and it was great racing. The second day the racing was awesome and I ended up taking 2nd overall for the day. Heading to Spokane, Washington next week-end for the Loretta Lynn qualifiers and then on to Vegas for World Mini's.
