WOW, what a week-end.  It started out very sad... a young boy had died the week-end before at the track during a practice.  It was open practice and he was on a little bike and a big bike came up to do a jump and didn't realize the little boy had gone down and hit him.  The boy died.  So each day of the race week-end a memorial was done in memory of him.  It definately reminds us that safety should always come first because accidents do happen.

During my first moto a couple of girls went down in front of me and I ended up at the bottom of the pile.  My helmet took most of the impact, when a bike came right over the top of me.  I still got up and finished 9th overall.  2nd moto was better.  I got a great start and finished 3rd overall, so for the day I ended up 4th.  was stoked.  The competition was fierce and it was great racing.  The second day the racing was awesome and I ended up taking 2nd overall for the day.

Heading to Spokane, Washington next week-end for the Loretta Lynn qualifiers and then on to Vegas for World Mini's.

This year was an interesting year for the High Country Motocross Association. Some of our races were cancelled due to the dry conditions but we were still able to get most of the races in. I ended up finishing 2nd overall in the Women`s A class and will be attending the awards banquet in October to receive my trophy. I broke my foot at the very last race of the season and I get my cast off tomorrow, so I am looking forward to getting in some practice before the fall series starts.

Yes, it`s true. I broke my foot. I over jumped a big step up and landed in the flats. I was still able to finish the race and took 3rd. We were headed for Washougal next week but it looks like I might be just watching. I see the doctor again before we leave but it isn`t looking good.

We traveled from Montana to Richland, Washington for Rounds 3 and 4 of the Pac West Series. I won 1st place both days in the Women`s class. There were alot of fast girls and I had alot of fun racing with them.

Just got back from racing the World Mini`s in Las Vegas. I had a great time. In my first moto I got off to a great start but then I wrecked and hurt my ankle. I still managed to pick myself up and finish 13th. I had a day to rest and ice my ankle and then it was time to race my second moto. My ankle was still pretty sore but I managed to pull off a top 10 finish. It was alot of great fun and I really enjoyed meeting and talking to my sponsors.

I am headed to the World Mini`s in Las Vegas. I will be racing the Womens class. I am stoked.
