Biggest Accomplishment:  This past year, 2007, I worked very hard getting ready for Loretta Lynn’s and all the hard work and training was paying off. I went into the last moto of the 65 (7-11) Modified class with a chance to win the National Championship. All week, I had been running in the top three, when we were plagued with some bike issues in the modified class. In moto one, I finished 4^th, only after falling in lap two and coming from the back of the pack. In moto 2, on the last lap, while running in 2^nd place, my chain derailed. And then, in the third moto, I lost my clutch. We went back to our pits with a focus on the 65 (10-11) Stock class as I was in a good position to win a National Championship for this class also. In the final moto, I took a comfortable 3^rd place position at lap #4, trying not to get tangled up with anyone, when my radiator cap came off. Well, the only thing I knew to do was hang in there and hope it would last the moto. Unfortunately that was not to be. I made it halfway through the two board of the moto, when my engine seized and I had to take a DNF. While I was pretty heartbroken, I knew there would be other Nationals, I ended up 12^th overall in the 65 (10-11) Stock, despite a score of 5-2-DNF.
