Marshall finished his first season of XC Mountain Bike Racing with 5 first place finishes and 1 second.place finish.  He accumulated 892 points out of 900 making him State Champion for 11-12 Boys Youth Comp.    Congratulations.

Today, Marshall raced his first XC MTB race in the MN State Championship Series.  The event was the Afton Avalanche held at the Afton Alps Ski Resort in Afton, MN   Not sure of what to expect he raced Kid's Comp Class.  He covered the 5 mile loop with a time of 27:14:32.  He finished 1st in the Overall and 1st in 11-12 Boys class.  You can check out more info on MNSCS at www.mnscs.com

Marshall has been taking a long hard look at what 2008 and the future will bring.  He has decided to move from racing BMX to racing Mountain Bike.  He has loved BMX racing and possibly will return in the future but wants to try something else.  He has taking on the responsibility of working a paper route for a local community newspaper and also wishes to train harder in the future for middle school and high school  football.  Marshall and his family has made lots of friends in the BMX racing community and we will miss them all but is looking forward to making new friends in the mountain bike racing series.    Keep an eye on my profile to see what up, I will be trying to update regularly.

St. Cloud, MN, August 26, 2007 - Marshall finished 3rd in 2007 Minnesota State Championship Finals but was able to retain the Boys - Age 11 State #1 title.  Marshall wishes to thank his sponsors, Supercross, Sun Rims and 661.

Congratulation Marshall and Happy Birthday.  Marshall turned 11 on the same day.

Last Thursday during his school's track meet, Marshall broke the all-time school record for the shotput.  His shotput of 31 feet out distanced the old record by 5.5 feet.  Congratulations!

Grand Nationals did no favors for Marshall, he came un-clipped in quarters.  He was able to move up from last to 5th but was not able to get to 4th to qualify for semis, but the Grands didn't help any riders below him in NAG points either.

Marshall ends the 2006 ABA Nationals series with a NAG 10 plate. 

Marshall turns 10 and as he celebrates his birthday, he also takes first out of a rack of 7 other 10 year olds in the 10X Main Event at the 2006 Minnesota State Championship Final.

Going into the Minnesota State Finals, Marshall and Zach Bahr were tied for first place in points, but with the win today, Marshall takes home the title! Congratulations.

Marshall had a great week-end this last weekend with 1st place finishes in both 9-10 Open and 9X classes both days. Plus he finished 1st at Friday`s Pre-race in the the 9X class. He also earned his ABA Open jacket after making his 7th Open main on Sunday.
