Well it's been a hard year. After trying to recover from my ankle injury, I wound up breaking my hand and sliding on my face down the street. Fun stuff.

The hand is all back to working order and I've been riding a bunch of road and street.

Hopefully I will purchase a new mountain bike this winter and next year will be better.

Thanks for my sponsors for the continued support.

Well. . .I realized I haven't really updated my profile since the new Sponsorhouse site launched, so it was time for a new blog.

2006 ended a bit slow for me with a reoccuring ankle injury and a knee that never seemed to want to heal. Oh well, what can ya do? I wound up getting a 20" to dork around on and do a little winter/off season crosstraining for the coming year. I've got to say that I'm really pretty stoked on riding a BMX again. I rode BMX waaay back in middle school for a bit but for the most part I've always been a mountainbiker. It's given me a renewed interest in riding the street around my town and it's definitely doing nothing but help my BMX game. Good stuff.

Also I picked up a 29er full suspension XC bike during the fall and that's been another fun way to change it up. I still haven't really touched my roadie at all this year and who knows, perhaps I'll sell it in favor of a full squish DH rig? The possibilities are endless.

Right now life is good, no complaints, and the future looks bright.

Hope everyone has a good 2007 season!

So after knocking my head pretty hard at the Ramp Rats MTB Jam in Petaluma, CA, I`ve been taking it easy and trying to get fully healed in time for summer. All the swelling and bruising on my face cleared up after just a week, but the doc has advised me to stay off the DJ bike and even my XC bike to give my head time to heal. So in the mean time I have been logging the miles on my roadie and just trying to stay fit. Another two weeks though, and I`ll be back on the jumper and XC bike!

Wow, so winter has officially died off in Ashland and spring is just getting started. My friends and I have been doing alot of digging and riding down at the local dirt jumps, so they should be primed and ready to go for the summer. Stoked. I`ve been taking a break from training on the road and XC because I`ve been trying to get over a cold, but next week I plan on getting back into the full swing of things and hopefully I`ll be in racing shape just in time for the big local race, Spring Thaw. Yay.

Well, I`ve been training alot these past couple weeks, tryin` to get in shape for the upcoming season. Oh and I finally got a new fork for my dj hardtail, so I`ll be back on the dirtjumps and urban, tryin` to learn new lines! Can`t wait for the XC season opener, the Mud Slinger, should be fun.
