Well the day started out rough I came out of the gate in the Schoolboy 2 class about mid pack and another rider fell right in front of me and I hit his bike and flipped. After getting up I caught the last 3 riders for a 13th which I was not happy with! In the C class i got a mid pack start and rode to the finish for a 9th. Which I was content with but not satisfied. In the second moto of the Schoolboy class I got a really good start(2nd out of the gate) and rode well the whole moto to a 3rd and for 5th overall out of 16. In the second C class moto I got a ok start and was in 9th and pushed up to 5th place for a 7th overall. It was a pretty good weekend but I am going to train harder for the next race!

The day started rough. During practice I went down twice, hurt my wrist, and only got in two laps of practice. The open class was first on the race order so I rcaed it and came up with a 10th. Next was moto 1 of the C class race. On the start I went into the first turn and hit neutral and came out in the bottom half of the class. I raced back and ended up 14th. I was glad that I at least got back to 14th because you had to at least get 15th to go straight into the main. In the second moto of the open class I got a mid-pack start passed a couple of riders and got 8th for an 8th overall which was happy with considering it was my first race back from my broken wrist. In the main of the C moto I got a good jump off the gate but just my luck the one person in front of me falls and I come out of the holeshot last ecept the guy that had fallen. I went on to pass 22 riders for a 17th which was very disappointing to me. During the race my dad took the lap times of the top 10 riders and I was running their same pace. Overall it was a diappointing weekend but not a total loss I know I can run up front with the tops guys I just need to work on my starts. Once again thanks to all of my current sponsors for their support.

Just got back from Ponca. It was really fun! Not really impressed with my results I know I could have done better if I had not broken my hand a couple weeks before or if I stayed up. Im pretty sure I would have gotten top ten. The first moto of the week I hit the gate and had to catch all the way back up to everyone I ended up with 15th. The second moto of the week i just didnt ride my usual speed at all got a bad jump off the gate and ended up 22nd. The third moto was my best moto of the whole week. I got third out of the gate and finished 8th. In my fourth moto I got another good start 5th out of the gate. I was running in second when i swapped over one of the doubles and went down and got ran over. In the main event for my stock class i tried to ride with my shoulder and back hurting pretty bad and went down 5 times in the mud. In the Mod class I got 24th and in the Stock class I got 26th. Not very happy with the results but what ever happens, happens. Ill be training really hard all year for next year in Novice class. -Trevor Derr #38

Well I just got back from MTF. It was amazing I learned soooo much stuff about riding and training. There was soo much that I actually had to take notes every night to remeber it all. I would recommend everyone go to it at least once. Even if you are the fastest pro in your area they will find something to correct on you.
