What has been your most embarrassing moment?
In the WORS Cup at Devils Head Resort, I was stung by a bee lost my focus and on the Downhill switchbacks there was a ditch in which I just didn`t notice and flew over the bars in front of 100`s of people.
Describe your style...
Definately a climber. I love hills cause I know everyone is struggling as I am, but the only difference is I surround my training around climbs so that`s when I drop people.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I train at least six days a week anywhere from 10 to 25 hours per week. I treat the wors races like sprint workouts for the longer races ahead.
Music?
Rise Against is my most favorite band in recent memory. These guys really get me stoked to toe the start line.
Why do you compete?
I compete to develop my fitness and overall health. I compete to earn pure victory knowing that all the time, blood, and sweat was all worth earning a good result or personal best or simply completing something I would have never thought I could. And of course the people you meet at these events are all great and love to have fun.
