Overview

How I got started

My very first race was in October `92 at a local track in Maine. I got 2nd place. I have been racing up and down the east coast ever since. I have raced Lorretta Lynns, Mini Olympics, as well as amateur day at some of the east coast nationals. I have been racing NESC (New England Sports Commitee) for 14 years. I am also a member of NEMA (New England Motocross Associatoin) and have been racing NEMA for 12 years.

Goals for the Future

My goals for `08 are to stay healthy and have consistant finishes. I plan on going back down to GPF(Georgia Practice Facility) and will be there all winter riding and training. I plan on getting my AMA Pro Lisence and doing some of the east coast nationals.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I have loved motocross since I was 4 years old. My neighbor down the street used to race and I used to watch him a lot. I finally talked my parents into getting me a bike and I started racing at 5 years old. I`m 21 years old now and have been doing it a long time and still love it just as much as when I first started if not more.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

The most embarrasing moment was when I was racing the 65 A class at NESC one weekend. I was battling with my buddy Billy Healy the whole entire race and he went down with two turns to go on the last lap. I thought I had it in the bag no problem when just before the finish on the last jump I endoed and went over the bars. I picked my bike up and walked it acrossed the finish line just in time before Billy went by. I was pretty embarrased to crash 5 feet before the finish. Luckily I still won the race.

Why do you like this sport?

I love this sport because of the competition and getting to meet new people every single weekend. Racing motocross is all my family and I know. We live and breathe this sport. We spend every night in our shop working on bikes getting them ready for the race weekend.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am a happy outgoing person at the races and at home. I like to hang out with friends and family especially with my two pug dog`s Taz and Spike Lee. I graduated from Maranacook Community High School. I was an average student in school. When I`m not riding or training, I`m working as a general contractor for my neighbor building garages, additions, decks, you name it we build it.

Describe your style...

I have a pretty smooth style. I like picking good lines and calculating certain sections. The more technical the track is the better. I like tracks to be very rough and have lots of lines. I like to bang bars. I have no problem with that. I don`t take offence getting block passed just as long as the other rider expects it back. No hard feelings.
