Overview

How I got started

I got a 1982 RM80 for Christmas when I was thirteen.   My bike got stolen two weeks later and my parents replaced it with a newer bike. I rode for a couple of months and then started racing local night races.  I started racing in 1999 and have raced competitively ever since.

Goals for the Future

I will be graduating college with a Finance degree in May, and would love to move to California or Florida to try to reach my full potential as a professional racer.  Whether I have to work part-time or full time, I want to try this for a least a year and then get serious about a career if I have to.  In the meantime, I want to win some races, , get a top 5 at Lorettas, and get noticed at some outdoor nationals.

Bio

I am a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management/Investment at the University of Arkansas. Employment wise, I work with other riders giving lessons and other part-time jobs. I enjoy playing basketball and going fishing, but motocross has had my heart for the last eight years. Even though my daily routine is based on developing the knowledge and skills for a career, I still can’t help but to spend all my free time chasing the dream of racing professionally.

Competitive Highlights

-3rd in the 250 pro class and 5th in the 125 pro class at Branson National
-Winning the Arkansas State Championship in 2000 and 2001
