Tribute to my Grandma and Grandpa

Tribute to my Grandma and Grandpa

This is a picture of my Grandma and Grandpa, my Grandma passed away about  1 1/2 years ago. This picture was taken during my Grandma's last Christmas. She died at 80 years old due to Cancer caused by smoking. My Grandpa passed away about 1 week ago at the age of 83. He died due to his Liver deteriorating caused by alcohol, and lung problems, and other problems due to smoking. They where the best grandparents a kid could ever ask for. I know that they died at very old ages, but there life was taken by alcohol, and tobacco. DON'T SMOKE!! NOTHING GOOD COMES OUT OF IT, AND WHO KNOWS IT MAY TAKE YOUR LIFE NEXT!!!!

Q&A - Personal

What inspires you to compete?

Watching the better riders at the track, and wanting to be like them or better, and wanting to be the best and get to the next level of riding.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would love to be a motocross racer in the WMA, but I would also love to be a vet because I love animals, or I would like to be an ER docotor.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 14 years old, I have two older sisters named Ashley and Kayla. Ashley is 19 and Kayla is 17. I am VERY close to my sister, and I also have a dog named Nemo, and a cat named Booger. I want to go to the University of Hawaii when i get older, or wherever I can get a scholorship. I play basketball and soccer. I LOVE sports, and I am upsessed with Plano Senior High (my local senior high school)!

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Yeah! I try to work out 7 days a week. I do a lot of conditioning like running, ladders, hurdles, butt kicks, lunges, and stuff like that. I also swim a lot, and do a lot of running and stuff. I am hoping to get a 6-pack, and get my mile time to 6 min. 55 sec.!

Why do you like this sport?

Because it is out of the ordinary, it is a BLAST, and it is just the best sport ever! When I tell people that I race they are always surprised, and it isn't a regular sport like soccer or basketball (even though I play both those sports)There is no other sport that gives me a rush like motocross does!

Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

I always loved motocross! But when I was little I was really big (fat) and my dad told me that if I lost like 30lbs then he would buy me a dirtbike. So after I lost the weight he bought me one a 90cc, and then 2 years later he bought me a ttr125! I have loved motcross ever since!

What are you planning for next season?

I am hoping on racing a couple times in the summer, but also I am hopefully going to race in the Fall Boondoxxx MX series!

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

Getting 1st in the ladies class, is something I am really proud of! But I am also really proud of getting 4th in the 4-stroke open! I was raicing against 9 guys, and I was the only girl! I was also like the 3rd youngest!
